We stock local coffee from Joshua Tree Coffee Company and leave a Chemex for brewing it. The patio is where you'll spend your evenings. The desert sky out here is the kind of dark that makes city people go quiet. Bring a bottle of wine and a blanket.

C'était l'endroit parfait pour une petite escapade rapide avant de retourner à Los Angeles. Jon et Joanne ont été très arrangeants et ont rendu le processus d'arrivée très facile. La maison est exactement comme sur les photos : propre, décorée avec goût et chaleureuse. Bien qu'elle soit située dans un petit quartier résidentiel, la rue est calme et la cour avant offre une belle vue sur le désert environnant (parfait surtout pour savourer un café tôt le matin). Un excellent endroit si vous voyagez seul et que vous souhaitez simplement vous détendre une nuit ou deux, mais aussi adapté si vous passez par JT avec un compagnon. Je reviendrai sans aucun doute dans cet endroit ! This was the perfect spot for a very quick getaway before heading back to Los Angeles. Jon and Joanne were very accommodating and made the check-in process very easy. The house is exactly as you see in the photos--clean, tastefully decorated and cozy. Although it is situated in a small residential area, the street is quiet and the front yard offers a lovely view of the surrounding desert (especially perfect for enjoying an early morning cup of coffee). A great spot if you're flying solo and just want to decompress for a night or two, but also suitable if passing through JT with a companion. I will definitely be coming back to this place again!

The casita is perfect and reasonably priced, and the biggest advantage is the privacy it offers compared to paying the same amount for a nearby hotel. Small touches, like complimentary local Joshua Tree coffee, are great. There are a few minor improvements that could be shared with the host.

Jon et Joanne ont été des hôtes formidables avec un superbe logement, très proche de l'entrée ouest du parc national de Joshua Tree (environ 10 à 12 minutes en voiture). C'est également tout près de très bons restaurants et boutiques locaux, avec des marchés de producteurs le week-end, et d'excellents cafés du coin. Je ne pourrais pas recommander leur logement davantage. Même observer les étoiles depuis la terrasse était une expérience à part, et se réveiller avec la vue sur les chaînes de montagnes était incroyable. Ce serait vraiment dommage de ne pas envisager de réserver chez Jon et Joanne si jamais nous revenons à Joshua Tree ! Jon and Joanne were great hosts with a great space very close to Joshua Tree National Park’s west entrance (about a 10-12 minute drive). It very near to some great local restaurants and shops, and with local farmer’s markets on weekends, and some great local cafes. I couldn’t recommend their place any higher. Even stargazing on the patio was something else, and waking up to seeing the mountain ranges was an incredible experience. We would be silly not to consider booking Jon and Joanne’s place should we ever come back to Joshua Tree!

Un endroit magnifique où séjourner ! Bien conçu et très confortable. Il n'est qu'à environ 10 minutes en voiture de l'entrée ouest du parc national de Joshua Tree, ce qui a rendu l'exploration très pratique. Jon & Joanne ont fourni des instructions claires et détaillées, donc l'enregistrement s'est fait sans problème, et la maison est très bien équipée avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Il y a aussi des restaurants et des cafés à quelques minutes en voiture. En résumé, je recommande vivement ! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour ! A beautiful place to stay! Well designed and very comfortable. It’s only about a 10minute drive to the west entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, which made exploring very convenient. Jon&Joanne provided clear, detailed instructions, so check-in was seamless, and the house is well-equipped with everything we needed. There are also restaurants and cafés just a short drive away. Overall, highly recommend! We had a wonderful stay!
