Glass Cabin Under the Pines | Hot Tub • Seclusion

A gem of a home, in a gem of a location. It was such a lovely spot to wake up, spend a slow morning and come back to for dinner and a soak after a day at the nearby lake. We would be happy to come back and bring a couple friends; highly recommend.

Wonderful cabin in the Nevada City area. The views were breathtaking and nothing beats being out in nature. Would love to stay here again in the winter months to enjoy snow filled mountains. Hosts were wonderful and the home was beautiful!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the glass house in the woods. Cozy, private, comfortable, easy check-in and out. Jon and Joanne were very responsive with answering questions and communications. Would definitely rent again.

This cabin is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Our family had the best time relaxing at the cabin, soaking in the scenery, exploring Nevada City and Paddle boarding at Scott’s Flat Reservoir. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous, which is great to look at through the expansive windows and cute jacuzzi. The hosts were also quick to respond with any questions and the house was spotless. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Cabin was awesome. Cozy and comfortable. Modern upgrades and well stocked to enjoy an escape to natural, everything you need. Hot tub under the stars accentuated the experience. Walls of windows allowed full experience. Nestled in the redwoods. Highly recommend a stay.

We had a truly remarkable stay in Nevada City. Nestled deep in the woods, this place offered the perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty. The surroundings are absolutely stunning—towering trees, serene stillness, and peaceful trails made for a truly restorative experience. Nature brought us a deep sense of peace and joy, and it was exactly what we needed. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unplug and reconnect with the outdoors in a truly special setting.

This house was perfect for a relaxing weekend in the forest! The cabin matched the photos and description exactly and was very well-equipped. The hot tub was so nice and the beds were comfy. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely had the perfect weekend escape with this tranquil & secluded booking. Initially we passed the cabin up since it sits on a downward slope, but it made the location all the more private. Hot tub was the highlight of the trip, especially surrounded by the forest, light snowfall & overhang lights. The windows in the glass cabin were serene, fridge was small which I was aware of according to previous reviews but perfect enough for us as we only stayed Fri-Sun. Hosts were communicative & very helpful & prompt in response when we needed to communicate. Super convenient location considering it's just a 20min drive from Nevada City & Grassvalley. Quant vintage town with restaurants, small businesses & cafes. Highly recommend. If you're booking in winter months, 100% recommend bringing a TON of your own fire wood. The fireplace kept the cabin exceptionally warm & cozy. Would just suggest a smaller couch to replace the 2 chairs in the living space for more comfort.

My retreat at Jon & Joanne’s place was very peaceful and enjoyable. I was there during rain and a bit of snow, even with the weather the house stayed toasty warm. It was just the right place to watch the weather from the couch with a cup of tea. The town is a short scenic drive for anything you may need. Though there was a few inches of snow by the end, a snow shovel was there and the road was plowed and it was easy for me to leave with my all wheel drive car. I haven’t slept so well since that big cozy bed in a long time! I appreciated being able to connect via Bluetooth to the high quality Sonos speaker in the main room. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a lovely stay! The home is nestled into the forest with beautiful views of the woods. The giant windows are private. You can stargaze while sitting inside and from the hot tub. The WiFi was strong for video calls. The hosts were very attentive and helpful.
