Perfect chic, clean, and cozy spot in the woods right by Nevada city! Had a wonderful time here with a couple friends for a relaxing and explorative weekend. Very easy to use the hot tub under the trees, very communicative and proactive hosts, and all the general fixings you need to feel at home! A thoughtful place that I’d recommend.

The place was modern, clean, beautiful and perfect for 1 person (or 2). It was a perfect place to relax and the view out of the sliding glass doors is great. The bed is comfy and the place had everything you needed. The only bummer about the place is it has no blinds for the kitchen window or black outs curtains for the sliding glass door. So it’s hard to sleep in. Also, the heater takes about 5 mins to turn on. Don’t panic :)

Highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy, quiet and peaceful getaway. My wife and I stayed here for Valentine's Day weekend, and the home was everything we hoped for. The property is exactly as advertised: easy to find, clean, welcoming, and features absolutely stunning views of the forest and lake through the floor-to-ceiling window walls. We especially enjoyed the using the fireplace, which kept the entire house cozy and warm. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed to make all our meals. Bbq was clean and easy to use. The hot tub was pristine and set to the perfect temperature upon arrival. A personal highlight was the quiet neighborhood, we even had a few deer walk right up to the back window which was pretty cool. Good little selection of board games to keep you entertained. Jon and Joanne are fantastic hosts, providing consistent updates and quick responses. We will definitely be recommending this stay to friends and already look forward to visiting again

We had a great stay at this house, everything was absolutely perfect. The home was very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The place felt comfortable, spacious, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The pool was amazing - clean, relaxing, and a perfect place to unwind. The whole house was in great condition, and you could tell the hosts really care about keeping it nice for their guests. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, clean, and comfortable home. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

This is a super cute place. Everything about the setup and layout of the home and property overall are perfect, especially views of sunrise and sunset. My biggest thing with Airbnbs is always wondering about the actual cleanliness vs pristine pictures on the listing. This place was extremely clean in all aspects. I felt totally safe here even though it’s “secluded.” Lots of static electricity, certainly due to dry air but I’m sure also because it’s a container home. Just something to be prepared for.

What a perfect spot for a solo retreat. I loved it so much I wanted to extend my stay! So peaceful, so cute, so easy to find and get into. Jon & Joanne were so quick respond if I had any questions. Will definitely book again when I’m back in the area.

Peaceful, light-filled cabin in a beautiful woodsy setting, with a great hot tub and easy access to Scotts Flat Lake and Nevada City / Grass Valley. My family and I really loved our 3 days here!

We decided to take the family to Victorian Christmas in Nevada City and this cabin seemed like the perfect jumping off point. Unfortunately, extreme winds and rain caused power outages in Nevada City and Grass Valley but didn’t ruin our weekend because the cabin never lost power and was perfect to retreat to. The stunning views and cozy fireplace meant that we were able to pass the storm indoors, watch movies, listen to music and read comfortably. Though the weekend didn’t go as planned we had a relaxing time and can’t wait to come back during better weather.

Great cabin in the woods. The pictures are accurate and capture the vibe well. Enjoyed looking up at the trees in the jacuzzi and being in a semi secluded spot.
